New In! SS’21 Collection

I’m THRILLED to announce our newest collection!

It was an eye opening process. As many, we had to rethink all aspects of our day to day operations and take a leap of faith into the unknown. The result is a celebration of Mother Earth 🌎

We took a down-to-earth approach with a neutral palette and a pop of happiness inspired in nature for a timeless collection.

The inspiration: The nature within our own backyard, which was a source of joy and reconnection during 2020. Also, the names for each piece were a homage to our favorite Ecuadorian beaches.

We are committed more than ever to create high quality pieces that endure through time and to continue supporting Ecuadorian women living in rural communities.

Intro: My Quarantine Diary

Hi there! I hope you and your loved ones are healthy and well.

It has been a month since Ecuador declared a total lockdown due to the virus in the hopes to flatten the curve.

Thankfully the entire G.VITERI team is safe. Our artisans are doing well. Their province (Azuay) continues to be one of the less affected. However, the cooperatives remain closed and all roads are closed at least for one more week. Fortunately the majority of the artisans have their own farm animals and crops, which helps a lot during these hard times.

As many of you, I’ve had my ups and downs during quarantine. Most of my days are full of gratitude, energy and positive thinking. However, I do have some moments where I’m overrun by fear and despair.

I have been trying to keep my mind and body active during this time at home, limiting my time on Twitter/watching the news and focusing on positive thoughts.

Don’t feel pressure to be productive or meet certain standards. Our only goal should be to navigate through this as better as we can, without comparing ourselves to others. Each of us lives a unique situation and has different ways to cope.

I would like to share with you some resources that have helped me navigate this emotional rollercoaster with a more positive attitude. I hope this brings a little bit of joy and positive vibes.

I’ll try to update each entry and to write more in detail about some of my favorite topics like gardening, cooking and travel inspiration.

Sending lots of love and hope during these difficult times. We will get through this together.

Please stay safe and let’s support each other.

Do you have any tips or advice you’d like to share with us?

SS’20 Moodboard

Getting ready for our #newcollection SS’20!

Our new collection is inspired by a summer in the Greek Islands. Scenic streets with white houses, their blue doors, and colorful bougainvilleas. The turquoise blue crystal waters, white rocks and idyllic sunsets ❤

New Sephora Holiday Campaign

OMG! Have you seen @sephora’s amazing new campaign?

Over 1,000 @sephora beauty advisors submitted video entries of themselves for consideration, speaking about what beauty means to them.

Ten unique people were chosen, and they represent Sephora stores in Canada and the US. They flew to New York City to be the stars of the new #sephora #reachoutandgift  beauty campaign!! Photo @inezandvinoodh | Styled by @alexwhiteedits | Hair by @ward_hair | Make up by @lisabutlermua .
